Luang Prabang on a bike

The best way to get around and to get orientated in the city is simply to rent yourself a bike. You can find a nice bike almost everywhere for the price of 1 dollar, and then the bike is yours for the next 24 hours 😀

So me and Per got some nice yellow bikes and rode around town for half a day! Up the small roads, down the alleys, towards the high way, crossing the river, crossing the river again, close to the airport, close to the bus station, oh…where are we now? Ah bugger, let’s continue the ride…and it was a great ride! It’s is a small and nice city, but not a place I want to hang around in for to long. A city will always just be a city if it is not a big one like KL or Bangkok where there is always something new to be discovered 😉

So tomorrow we are off to Vang Vieng for a couple of days to do some tubing down the river and to have (hopefully) a great party, been way to quiet these last days…hehe…and then we’re off to 4000 islands and Don Det. It’s all the way down south, and the days will for sure be spent in either a tube or in a hammock – I CAN NOT WAIT 😀
